HIS CURVY LIBRARIAN High Heat BBW Romance Curves for the Alpha Book 2 edition by Sara Hazel Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

  • I didn't like that there was no story, just sex. I don't think these two characters even liked each other. Also, there was a lot of swearing...like alot.
  • Derek is so hot, sexy and he wants Melissa. However, wanting her and actually getting her are two different things. Ex military man now has a slightly different battle he needs to win but first get rid of past insecurities and then capture her heart.
  • Sweet short romantic story of two different characters who have a love hate reunion, fall in love after learning how to trust one’s feelings and find their happy ending! Thanks for the awesome read ♥️♥️
  • This is the first book I read by this author. Melissa and Derek past history could make for a unhappy future if one does not accept someone could love them. Recommend
  • It was a pretty good one. Old School mates.. But the mom was crazy. I would have left her by herself
  • I had high hopes for this book featuring a "curvy" (BBW) woman & I was let down.

All the parts seemed to be there but the author didn't quiet pull it off. Melissa (the main female character) was quiet wishy washy, annoying at times. Most of the time (honestly). She wanted Derek, then she didn't, then she did. What? That continues throughout the whole book.

Derek was the best thing about the book. He never wavered in wanting to be with Melissa. Despite her erratic behavior.

I also couldn't stand the author using the word "squeal". Melissa squealed as Derek did this or did that. "Squeal" is not a attractive word, plus it reminds me of what a pig does. The sound it makes. Thinking about a pig sound when referring to a larger woman is not a good thing. It's offensive really. Couldn't the author come up with something a little better? I mean really!

Then in the book the story all if the sudden jumps a year ahead in time with no warning. It's all just bunched together in a paragraph or two. No warning, no new chapter, it was confusing.
  • Omg can a story get any more hokey???? There really wasn't much of a plot. Melissa and Derek, the dude who made fun of her in high school. She quickly had sex with him, bragging about her virginity being lost. It was all about sex. I think these authors enjoy writing graphic sex scenes more so than writing an actual story with a plot. I think I better stop reading these because I don't enjoy them much any more. And the poor grammar/proofreading issues with these online books just takes out the enjoyment of the stories.
  • I really tried to get into this book. I'm a curvy woman myself so I love these types. But I just didn't like the heroine. Every time she let the hero in just a little she pushed him right back out saying she doesn't think it's gonna work.
