- Neo tarot is very unique in that it is like having a self help / life coach / councilor / friend to advise you , guide you , and give you tips to get through or embrace whatever your situation /card calls for . I love the colors and the art work in this deck , also very unique and beautiful ! Some of these I would love in print to frame and put up as art on the wall, the strength card , the top of the box set picture-- just beautiful !! The box set is a beautiful presentation , the book is full color , really nice and has a lot of information about the deck , the tarot and a bit about the author and includes unique spreads for this deck , suggestions for other creative ways to do a spread/reading ( I really appreciated this addition ) . The book is attached to the box set so it is not removable which I would like better to be able to take the book out and read it without it being attached to the box set as ( small issue though ) As in the picture on the product page the cards are in a tuck box that is then in their own side of the box . The tuck box is not as difficult to open as some are where you are struggling so you don't damage it ,so that is nice . I have not read the entire book yet , but what I did read seems to be very uplifting /non scary / gentle sometimes direct but loving messages . Very self help/self care / self healing oriented deck, unlike any other I have seen. Each card has the upright meaning the reverse meaning and a section for self care . Very unique and beautiful overall and its apparent the author put a lot of work into creating this . Thank you !! I like these a lot . I think these would be great for therapist/councilors who incorporate tarot in their practice .
- The deck is pretty. But, I’m not crazy about how the book is permanently attached to the box. You can’t take it off and hold it like a normal book, which is a huge bummer. The deck itself is nice though. Solid card stock and pretty images that hold true to the RWS system.
- This is hands down one of my favorite tarot decks and I use it daily. Not only does it offer you amazing insight, but the self care practice for that card as well as the affirmation- this tarot deck/book is a must have for everyone. Jerico has knocked it out of the park with this. She’s put so much thought and energy into this and it shows.
Whether you’re brand new to tarot or someone who has been practicing for awhile, you need this in your collection. - Let me start by saying these cards have great energy! I really appreciate the content the author paired with these cards. The information in the book is truly healing and informative. It’s a great first deck for someone looking to use tarot as a tool to reflect and grow.
I appreciate the imagery on the cards, they depict diverse looking people-most tarot decks are Eurocentric.
My only qualm is I wish the decks were printed on higher quality card stock. Some cards came out the box with paper peeling on the edges. The cards feel like they were printed on cheep cardboard so I know they won’t stay nice looking for long. Still, I really like this deck and am happy to use it. - There are many things I love about this deck. To start I love the art work and the images are gentle, inclusive and gender fluid. This makes them feel very accessible. The energy of the deck itself is very comforting and paired up with the affirmations inside for each card the deck is super supportive as well a good guide. I love the little bits of astrology information for each card as well. I read for others, so appreciate the beautiful gentleness of the images as I can read for others without having overly strong images of the swords (or death) being the elephant in the room. I appreciate the classic images as well, just in a setting with others the harsh images can set the client into a space of fear. The deck is a boxset, and the book is attached to the box. However, I wanted the book to be portable so cut the book out.
- Beautiful deck, it has a great energy as one of the reviewers mentioned. Card stock is pretty solid but I just opened it and have slight peeling on the edges for some cards so I’m unsure how this will hold up with frequent use or in the long run.
Also, the book is beautifully designed, but it’s attached to the packaging which is a bit of a bummer. It’s a bit impractical, and I’m not sure why this was considered a good idea.
