• Just finished Book 5 in the Zombie Road Series and it did not disappoint me. I'm a recent convert to Zombie Books, but being a fan of the Walking Dead Series on T. V. I thought books about Zombies would interest me. I looked at this series a long time before I finally purchased the first four books, but buy I did and I'm glad I made up my mind to buy them. I found it hard to wait for this fifth book. The characters are all very well fleshed out and the reader feels as if they are old friends , the action is fast-paced and doesn't die down but keeps building until the finale confrontation. The concepts of good and evil are well-defined and sometimes it looks as if evil will win but the good guys manage to pull it out and succeed. I found it hard to really like Scarlett and she never gained in my opinion, she was always "just okay". The World is starting to recover but there are still dangers with the Anubis Cult and the Mauraders and those two groups may finish what the Zombies started. All five of these books are great and I was lucky enough to read them back to back. Get these books and read them, you will not feel as if you wasted your money.
• If you wanted action, you got it and more. Romance? Sadness? Happiness? Everything is here. I read and read, but was sad when I reached the last page…no more. My addiction is still not satisfied. Jessie & Scarlet take you on a rollercoaster ride across America. Gunny & Griz just don’t know when to retire. Zombie jerky is something no one wants. What a few want is…everything. A struggle that seems neverending, but eventually someone has to win. An Apocalypse brings out all the emotions in man & beast. You can’t wait until it happens, and hope you are one of the lucky ones, or stronger ones. Lots of questions still laid out there, who is scared, jealous, and confident? Just hope that if it happens, you have friends like these…or at least they don’t hate you. Happieness is a warm gun. Each book is a buildup and leaves you wanting to know what happens next, write faster!
• This series of books are allays a joy to read. If you have not read a one, and this is your first, I would recommend reading them in order. You don't have to, but it makes the tale so much more full and enjoyable.
  The characters are pretty well crafted out, and the story line is not overly complicated yet. . . although that could be changing as the New World is born.
  Read this series. You won't be disappointed.
• Some series of books start to thin out by the 4th or fifth one, not this series though. It just gets better and better and it seems like such a long wait till the next Zombie Road book, but it's well worth the wait! David Simpson is in top form when it comes to this genre!
• This is an action book. So of course, there is violence. There is also a determination to live as it would be in a apocalypse. I've followed the books from the first chapter, watching Jessie make mistakes and learn as he grows into a man. I've built attachments to many of the characters and wished death on many others. Thank you Mr. Simpson. The book is entertaining and worth reading.
• Another excellent story from David Simpson. Love the action, the struggle, the adventures of everyone. The zoo animals were a nice surprise. I am looking forward to the continuing adventures of Gunny, Jessie and everyone and seeing how out country is developing and growing. Oh, and my feelings will not be hurt if something disastrous happens to Casey! Well done, David.
• Jessie was just trying to set up trade routes, that’s all. As if dealing with the Raiders and those Cult lunatics weren’t enough, now he had to watch this Scarlet girl who would likely enjoy slipping a blade into his back. Being the Road Angel was hard work… With Zombie Road V Terror on the Two-Lane, Mr. Simpson delivers yet another worthy addition to the Zombie Road series. With plenty of action, thrills and even a bit of youthful passion, you won’t be disappointed.
• I can't get enough of this crew! Every character is killer...in more ways than one. The plots keep twisting and turning...just when you think you know where it's going, the whole thing changes. Just can't wait for the next book!!!
