• Very impressive small book on some captivating contemporary home. I find it hard to believe that such a high quality hard bound book with photographs, drawings and trilingual text can cost so little. It would be worth five times it price just for the quality of it!
• I have looked at all the homes but I wish I had a house like these homes
• I honestly thought this was a smaller book. I was more or less getting it to qualify for Super Saver Shipping on another item =P. Discovering that it was a 2-volume, large pictured, high quality books I was excited to go through it. I would definitely recommend this item to anyone with an architectural career, background, or even just an enthusiast.
• It's two volumes of beautiful pictures and descriptions of both the architect(s) and the design itself. I own many design books, some more for learning purposes, and others because I simply enjoy architectural eye candy. In this case, the books are larger with big color-print photos, and there are houses featured that I haven't seen before. It's not the ultimate best I've ever seen, but it's certainly far from the worst.
• For 40 bucks you really do get 2 stunning books. Unfortunately you would need to be a 1%'er in order to live in any on these houses, but great for the imagination - and one day perhaps I will get there. Good luck to you in your own architectural dreams!
• This collection of contemporary houses has given me ideas for retirement as well minor redecorating projects for now. Granted most homes in the collection are a bit out of my range right now but it gives me aspiration when cracking the books open.
• Taschen provides a wonderful collection of reference books. My daughter is an interior designer and we enjoy looking at their various publications
• Very well planned and laid out. great images that all relate. The usual well edited Taschen work. I love this book!
